I've been exploring Cape Cod in one way or another for the last 50+ years. From Bourne to Province there is not a town or village that I haven't explored. Cape Cod offers far more than beautiful landscapes, it also touches my spirit.
As I have I've meandered through the hidden places that many have yet to see. My photographs have opened my eyes and touched my heart. Gratitude is what I experience in being able to spend my life here. I hope you find these images provide you with wonder as well.

The Art of Cape Cod — A Lifetime in the Making
By Steve Paul Lipman | Cape Cod
My love affair with Cape Cod began more than 75 years ago, when, as a five-year-old boy, I discovered the beauty of its beaches, harbors, and coastal landscapes. In 1976, I fulfilled a childhood promise to make Cape Cod my home.
Over the decades, exploring and photographing Cape Cod became a lifelong passion. In 1996, I founded VisitCapeCod.com, sharing the Cape's natural beauty with the world. My journey into digital technology continued with pioneering live-streaming broadcasts beginning in 2005.
In 2025, artificial intelligence opened an extraordinary new chapter in my artistic journey. Combining decades of Cape Cod photography with digital artistry and AI, I developed Cape Cod Luminism™, a distinctive style celebrating the luminous skies, brilliant ocean blues, golden sunlight, and timeless beauty of New England's coastline.
My artwork is more than a collection of Cape Cod landscapes and coastal scenes. It is an expression of childhood memories, lifelong experiences, and the emotions inspired by this extraordinary place.
For most of my life, I photographed Cape Cod as I saw it. Today, I create Cape Cod as I remember feeling it.

it's a feeling I never stop chasing.”
